Breathing In, Breathing Out

Breathing in like it’s a beam of light
Prepare to fly
Through hidden wisdom;

In the darker shadows of a glooming night
Collect the fog
Into your bag of hopes;

Don’t give up your dreams without a fight
Use strong weapons
The ever painful truth;

At the end of the road there’s always a knight
Believe your fate
It’s nowhere written;

Climbing the mountain for a better sight
The pale horizon
Allows views beyond;

When the stars at midnight shine so bright
Hang in there
For a flying start;

Thinking about what’s wrong, what’s right
Take your time
Don’t count on others;

Breathing out at dawn you might
See the day
Of your rising future.
