White Horses Deity

I’m surfing on the edge of time
Holy waters making way
Leaving circles on the beach
Forming white absurdities.

Desperate shadows at the doorway
Travel down the aisles to see
All the wisdom from the hazard
Just one tiny glimpse of thee.

People, persons, snakes and foxes
Hanging gardens at the crossroad
Back from my unpleasant future
Searching for my bravery.

Climbing up the rolling waves
On a copper plate of doom
Leaving all the gloom behind
For the salty skin of tears.

Dreaming back to lands of fortune
Where my love gets some response
In the days of distant hope
When the sea makes way to walk through.

Spread my wings to use the height
For vision and the simple life
The waves behind the passing storm
One life is gone – the next before me.
